Puppies remain at Northstar Acres untill they are 8-weeks of age. They are given their vaccintion,
deworming, plenty of human contact, and between six to eight weeks of age they learn puppy socialization with their siblings,
which is a very important step in their development. Puppies adopted must be picked up at 8-weeks of age, there is
a kenneling fee of $5 per day until picked up. If prior arrangements are made at least two weeks in advance for a later
pick-up then the $5 fee is waived. The balance still needs to be paid by the eight week period.
Adoption payments: Deposits can be made by check if it is before 10-days of picking up your puppy,
The final balance is due when the puppy is 8-weeks old, and at the time of picking up your puppy. If shipping is
needed, then the final balance is due when the puppy is 7-weeks old along with the shipping costs. The final balance due is
by cash, postal money order, or paypal (plus 3% fee for using paypal services) only, no checks will be accepted at time of
pick-up. Deposits are non-refundable. If balance is not received on time the puppy becomes available and deposits/contracts
are forfeited.
The puppies are ready for their one-on-one with their new families when they are eight weeks, please
be prepared to take your puppy home at that time.
